Wage Equity for EarlyON & Family Support Professionals
FSIO, in partnership with AECEO, is calling on the Government
of Ontario to ensure equitable wage enhancements and professional
recognition for RECEs, Legacy Practitioners, and staff working in
EarlyON Child and Family Centres and family support programs.
Why this matters
EarlyON and family support professionals are required to hold
the same qualifications and professional standards as RECEs in
licensed childcare settings, yet many remain excluded from
wage enhancement initiatives.

deserve equitable recognition and compensation.

Wage parity supports staff retention, workforce stability,
and high-quality services for children and families.
