About FSIO

The Family Supports Institute Ontario (FSIO) is a provincial, non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening family support programs, professional learning, collaboration, and advocacy across Ontario communities.

Our Story

FSIO was created through the collective work of professionals and community leaders who believed in the importance of family support programs and relationship-based practice.

Over the years, FSIO has continued to connect professionals, support collaboration, share resources, and create opportunities for learning and advocacy across Ontario.

Today, FSIO continues to support family support professionals, EarlyON staff, organizations, students, and communities through professional development, sector updates, networking, and advocacy initiatives.

Our Mission

FSIO works to strengthen and advance the practice of family support by supporting professionals, encouraging collaboration, sharing resources and learning opportunities, and advocating for responsive, inclusive, community-based services for children and families.

Supporting ongoing professional growth through workshops, Essentials modules, networking, and shared knowledge.
