Training for Trainers

This two day workshop will provide you with the skills and materials necessary to assume the role of trainer. Presenting to small groups, staff meetings, boards, etc. will also be addressed.
The first day will examine how to develop a workshop, including: assessing needs and problems, establishing objectives, designing content and evaluation. Awareness of adult learning principles and meeting participant’s learning needs will be explored.
The second day will focus on creating a learning environment, the role of the facilitator, and powerful presentation skills. You will have the opportunity to apply new information and will become more competent and confident in developing and delivering presentations and/or workshops.
You will learn to
- Recognize adult learning principles as they apply to learning need
- Train others using necessary skills and materials
- Facilitate workshops and presentations effectively
