November 27: 


Information and Registration Desk opens at 4:00 PM.

Prof. Matt Sanders’s Master Class for Practitioners begins tonight at 7:00 PM.  The topics for tonight’s presentation include how to engage a diverse population, how to be flexible when presenting the program so that it meets the needs of the familiy and explain the new program on resiliency.

Come and meet fellow colleagues, enjoy some appetizers and a drink at our social mixer afterwards in the Courtyard foyer.  Cash bar available.


November 28: 

Welcome to our first full day!

The Registration and Information Desk is open from 7:00AM until 8PM tonight.

Enjoy the buffet breakfast beginning at 7:30AM followed by Prof. Matt Sander’s keynote, Transforming Lives Through Positive Parenting

After the break, attend the workshop you have registered for.

In the afternoon we will hear from both Dr. Shawna Lee and Marie-Hélène Gagné.

Shawna Lee will present her research work on Positive Early Childhood Education (PECE).

Marie-Hélène Gagné will speak about her reasearch on the effects of Triple P in two Quebec communities.

Another round of workshops will end the afternoon session.

An evening presentation sponsored by *** is open to the public as well as conference pass holders,  Shelley Marshall will present her award winning one woman show Hold Mommy’s Cigarette.

Dr. Susan Hopkins from the Merit Centre will speak in the afternoon to Self-Reg®, a Powerful Tool for Parenting.
